So back on the bike and heading South. Finding very fast just how expensive Chile is going to be. We stayed in another
Hostel last night and not only where we the oldest there, the place was full, and it cost $40 US for the
privilege.
Not only that, we where
rudely awaken by not only loud want-to-be hippies going to bed but also a good size
earthquake in the night

Not much to talk about heading South. Very barren in all aspects, coast on one side with just enough room for a very well kept road and then raises straight up in to high mountains.

Nothing better than finding a spot (out of the wind) to do up a brew and a small bite to eat...... coffee and plain buns never tasted so good

We travel around 400 k's per day, sometimes less, but I have a feeling that we will be cutting it close to try and get to the bottom of South America in time. Also it sounds like the weather is complete shit down there at the moment.... about 1 degree and raining..... DAM!!

Anyway it's back on the road and looking at this for the next 3 days yet before getting into Valparaiso just West of Santiago. Then it's over the Andies again and into Argentina for the straight shot South. Time will tell....
