We started to head to Cusco which I was thinking would be 1 day ride. Started out well but after climbing constantly we finally topped out onto a high plateau which was around 13000 ft. poor bike was struggling as we where when it started to rain and get very cold....

We even climbed high than this again
Not that these kids knew any different re altitude or cold
Then the welcome drop to the other side. It had taken us about 8 hrs to cover 360k's of what I'd consider fairly hard riding. so another night in a small village then onto Cuzco...
