14-11 Still head'n South....

Yep still head'n south..... been the story of my life for the past 2 months. At the moment in a place called copiapo which is about 800 k's north of Santiago. Still great riding but is getting cooler, also road works once in while just to keep you awake
Whilst Mark is doing the coffee ritual in this beautiful little fishing village,

Iam being entertained by the pelicans, they are such characters, get closer if you can. They were waiting impatiently for a dog to stop scoffing some fish bits put out by a local fisherman, so they could fight the seagulls for them. They dive into the water like stealth bombers
I made Mark stop here, it is in the Atacama Desert, and was breathtaking, point and shoot camera doesnt do it any justice....
One more to prove we were both in the same place

  1. hey Bro - this is so someone has been reading your stuff and has responded. Love all that scenery - just like riding thru an oven with your eyes closed! Here we are in spring with green and shit! Glad I didn't come with you cos the gap between your back and the spare tyre looks VERY VERY small. Ya sure need to pick your pillion passenger eh! Thank god there;s nuttin to Kath!
Look forward to hearing about the crossing to Argentina and down thru the lake district. Maybe it won't rain and blow in Patagonia - or just maybe the sun will rise in the west. Spring smiles to you. geoff.
