Arica to present time

This riding in the desert is just great. Warm, great roads and great scenery as you motor along
Then after climbing some, you get to drop down again into some wild canyons
More lovely desert, but sure is getting hot
MMMM sure is no one around except for all these little graves and crosses that mark where past folks have dropped down alittle faster than planned.
Finally after traveling for over 300 k's and no fuel stations around in the middle of this 'Bloody' Desert (notice I'm over it already) we had the red light flashing at us and it was only by knocking on a guys door that gave us enough (just) fuel to get us into this town.
There is never a dull moment with the Gabites factor in play..... sometimes I sure wish there was!!
