Spent
alot of time talking to these guys, and it feels so very safe having them around

Got into a lovely little village at
the base of a 28 k/m ride down a knife edge ridge with valley both sides, will never forget this ride as it was on good tar
Matt for the throttle was busy.....

it's one of the oldest places in Colombia and settled by the Spanish so has that amazing feel about it, wish we had spent more time there but due to running out of light we had to get to Medellin before it got to dark

So it's day 3 here now and we all agree that out of our travels so far this country is one that I'd love to return and re visit. I think Colombia is very misunderstood and while it is dangerous if you choose to run drugs or guns, it is like any other country that if you ask for trouble you'll get it.Every one we have meet there has been the most friendly we've ever meet and the most helpful. It will
truly be a sad day to leave this fantastic country.....
well done, you made it to columbia !!! i have to wait a few more days for my boat to leave and do a bit of maintanance on my bike in the meantime. happy travels, lutz
