still on the sea

,We get to the last post to check out of Panama and was told that we could go to a Cargo dock called Turbo. Now this will save us 1-2 days sailing also 2 days ride so after a talk we deiced to get our selves off this boat asap and go for it.
11 hours later arrive in the dark just off the port and decide to go in the morning....

However we are told by the Marine/army that nobody ever has unloaded here and not with bikes as well...... actually lucky we didn't get fire on in the process....... however

they all turned around and said we'll see what we can do. Now this is the first time in Colombia and before we know the military are helping us unload, the customs/immigration leave their office and come out to process us in and this is all done with so many smiles and helpfulness that it blew us all away.

At the end of it, it was the first time this has ever happened and our entry to Colombia was to be both memorable and a share pleasure. Also a bench mark of what was to take place for our whole stay while in this fantastic scenic and the most friendly country I have yet had the pleasure to visit....... but we where happy to see the end of the sail boat and it's Captain......
